In actuality, many of these \u201cgrain free\u201d blends swap out whole grains and replace them with less healthful options like tapioca, potatoes or peas. \u00a0This feeds the pet unhelpful fillers instead of the nutrients he needs, often resulting in allergies, feeble heath and physical concerns. \u00a0Thus, most \u201cGrain-Free\u201d products offer little to no physical benefit to the pet, but cost more than other pet food products. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0When purchasing dog food, be sure to look for a \u201cStarch-Free\u201d product and avoid labels that claim to be \u201call-natural\u201d or \u201cgrain-free.\u201d<\/p>\n
